Korean startup, Vuno will provide a cardiac arrest AI detection tool to be commercially available in May of next year.  In October of this year, Vuno initiated clinical trials at Asan Medical Center.

Vuno has created DEWS, a system that predicts the onset of cardiac arrest symptoms 24 hours in advance, by partnering with Mediplex Sejong Hospital.   The research has with Sejong Hospital has been ongoing for two years.  The respective hospitals use the technology to predict cardiac arrest early in advance.

Vuno Med - DEWS uses blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, temperature as inputs for the deep learning technology to assess risks for cardiac arrest.  When the software receives approval in the first half of next year, it will be both Korea's and the world's first cardiac arrest prediction tool.
